Cette revue bimestrielle enti\u00e8rement r\u00e9dig\u00e9e en breton n\u2019\u00e9tait pas une simple publication litt\u00e9raire. Les fondateurs initiaux \u00e9taient une petite \u00e9quipe anim\u00e9e d\u2019un m\u00eame id\u00e9al : P\u00ear ar Bihan (Per Le Bihan) et Andrev Latimier en constituaient les figures centrales, \u00e9paul\u00e9s par Glaoda Millour et Ronan Chevalier. Elle succ\u00e9dait spirituellement \u00e0 Gwalarn, la grande revue litt\u00e9raire fond\u00e9e en 1925 par Roparz H\u00e9mon, interdite par les autorit\u00e9s fran\u00e7aises en 1944 pour cause de patriotisme breton. <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">L\u2019esprit survivait pourtant. D\u00e8s ses premiers num\u00e9ros, Al Liamm se distinguait par son ouverture inter-celtique : articles en gallois, traductions de litt\u00e9rature irlandaise, chroniques sur l\u2019Irlande, le Pays de Galles et l\u2019\u00c9cosse. Elle affirmait ainsi que la Bretagne n\u2019\u00e9tait pas une simple province fran\u00e7aise, mais une nation celte \u00e0 part enti\u00e8re.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">La fusion de 1948 : vers une revue de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">L\u2019ann\u00e9e 1948 marque un tournant d\u00e9cisif. Al Liamm fusionne d\u2019abord avec Kened (\u00ab Beaut\u00e9 \u00bb), puis avec T\u00edr na n\u00d3g (\u00ab Terre de jeunesse \u00bb), revue bilingue cr\u00e9\u00e9e \u00e0 Rennes en janvier 1945 par Paol ar Gourriereg (Pol Le Gourrierec) et Ronan Huon. Cette triple fusion donne naissance \u00e0 Al Liamm-T\u00edr na n\u00d3g, qui devient rapidement la r\u00e9f\u00e9rence incontournable de la litt\u00e9rature bretonne contemporaine. Ronan Huon, alors jeune professeur et militant passionn\u00e9, prend la direction effective de la nouvelle revue. Avec Pol Le Gourrierec, il supervise la fusion et impose une ligne \u00e9ditoriale claire : promouvoir une litt\u00e9rature de qualit\u00e9, en breton unifi\u00e9, nourrie d\u2019un souffle nationaliste. Huon dirigera la revue pendant pr\u00e8s d\u2019un demi-si\u00e8cle, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 sa mort en 2003. Son fils Tudual Huon lui succ\u00e9dera en 2011, assurant la continuit\u00e9 familiale et militante.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Un engagement nationaliste assum\u00e9<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Al Liamm n\u2019\u00e9tait pas neutre. D\u00e8s l\u2019origine, son fondement \u00e9tait nationaliste. H\u00e9riti\u00e8re de l\u2019Emsav d\u2019avant-guerre, elle offrait une tribune aux \u00e9crivains qui refusaient de voir le breton r\u00e9duit \u00e0 un patois. La revue incarnait la r\u00e9sistance culturelle face \u00e0 la centralisation fran\u00e7aise. Elle accueillait des plumes qui avaient souvent milit\u00e9 pour l\u2019autonomie ou l&rsquo;ind\u00e9pendance bretonne, parfois au prix de lourds sacrifices personnels. Roparz H\u00e9mon lui-m\u00eame, exil\u00e9 en Irlande, y publia des textes depuis Dublin, maintenant ainsi le lien avec la grande figure de la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente. La revue joua un r\u00f4le essentiel dans la construction identitaire des n\u00e9o-bretonnants d\u2019apr\u00e8s-guerre. Elle permit \u00e0 une nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de s\u2019approprier la langue et d\u2019en faire un outil de cr\u00e9ation litt\u00e9raire moderne, tout en d\u00e9fendant une vision de la Bretagne comme nation celte.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Les grandes plumes nationalistes bretonnes<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Parmi les nationalistes bretons qui ont marqu\u00e9 de leur empreinte les pages d\u2019Al Liamm, plusieurs noms brillent encore aujourd\u2019hui : <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Per Denez (Pierre Denis), cofondateur de Kened avec Arzel Even, linguiste, romancier et traducteur prolifique. Il contribua massivement \u00e0 la revue et aux \u00e9ditions Al Liamm, devenant l\u2019une des figures les plus influentes de la litt\u00e9rature bretonne moderne.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Youenn Drezen, romancier et po\u00e8te, figure majeure de la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration d\u2019avant-guerre. Ses nouvelles et r\u00e9cits ancr\u00e9s dans la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 bretonne parurent r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement, t\u00e9moignant d\u2019un engagement profond pour la langue et la culture.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Anjela Duval, po\u00e9tesse paysanne au verbe puissant. Ses textes \u00e9voquaient la terre, la langue et la lutte pour la survie culturelle. Sa po\u00e9sie simple et profonde reste l\u2019une des plus touchantes de la p\u00e9riode.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Maodez Glanndour, po\u00e8te mystique et engag\u00e9, dont l\u2019\u0153uvre po\u00e9tique marqua durablement la revue.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Reun Ar C\u2019halan (Ren\u00e9 Galand), universitaire et \u00e9crivain, qui apporta une dimension internationale et savante.<\/span> <span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">D\u2019autres contributeurs notables incluent Xavier de Langlais (Langleiz), Youenn Gwernig, Paol Keineg, Abeozen (Fa\u00f1ch Elies), et Ronan Huon lui-m\u00eame, qui signa de nombreux textes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Ces auteurs, souvent issus ou proches du mouvement nationaliste breton, firent d\u2019Al Liamm un v\u00e9ritable laboratoire de cr\u00e9ation en breton, m\u00ealant po\u00e9sie, nouvelles, essais et chroniques celtiques.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Un h\u00e9ritage vivant<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Quatre-vingts ans apr\u00e8s sa fondation, Al Liamm continue de para\u00eetre, dirig\u00e9e par Tudual Huon. Elle reste un lien vivant entre les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations de militants culturels et litt\u00e9raires bretons.
