Apr\u00e8s un premier opus en 2023 principalement compos\u00e9 de reprises et d\u2019adaptations rock de standards celtiques, le groupe passe \u00e0 la vitesse sup\u00e9rieure avec 13 cr\u00e9ations originales. Plus heavy, plus incisif et surtout pens\u00e9 pour enflammer les sc\u00e8nes, cet album confirme le potentiel du collectif.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe style=\"border: none; overflow: hidden;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/video.php?height=476&amp;href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Freel%2F1590688975368838%2F&amp;show_text=true&amp;width=267&amp;t=0\" width=\"267\" height=\"591\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Contexte et \u00e9volution du groupe<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">B.R.E.T.O.N.S. n\u2019est pas un groupe au sens classique, mais un v\u00e9ritable collectif qui r\u00e9unit des musiciens issus de la sc\u00e8ne bretonne et celtique (membres de Soldat Louis, EV, Kervegans, Digresk, Armens\u2026). L\u2019id\u00e9e fondatrice : mixer l\u2019h\u00e9ritage traditionnel breton, irlandais et \u00e9cossais avec une \u00e9nergie rock puissante, \u00e0 la crois\u00e9e de Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys, Tri Yann et m\u00eame AC\/DC. Apr\u00e8s un premier album orient\u00e9 reprises, \u00ab D.A.O.U \u00bb marque une belle maturation : le groupe s\u2019affirme comme compositeur et propose un son plus personnel, tout en restant fid\u00e8le \u00e0 son identit\u00e9 festive et identitaire.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Son et production : du rock celtique qui cogne<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">D\u00e8s les premi\u00e8res notes, on sent la diff\u00e9rence. Les guitares sont plus satur\u00e9es, les rythmiques plus lourdes, et les instruments traditionnels (bombarde, biniou, cornemuse) ne sont pas l\u00e0 pour faire joli : ils percutent, dialoguent et se confrontent au rock avec une efficacit\u00e9 redoutable. L\u2019album respire le live. Les arrangements sont \u00e9nergiques, parfois presque metal sur certains riffs, sans jamais tomber dans l\u2019exc\u00e8s. Le m\u00e9lange est organique : on passe d\u2019un groove festif \u00e0 des passages plus sombres ou engag\u00e9s sans rupture de ton. Les voix, charismatiques et collectives, portent des textes en breton ou en fran\u00e7ais qui c\u00e9l\u00e8brent la Bretagne, la mer, la f\u00eate, l\u2019identit\u00e9 et une certaine forme de r\u00e9sistance culturelle.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Les points forts<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">L\u2019\u00e9nergie brute : l\u2019album donne envie de sauter, de lever le poing et de chanter \u00e0 tue-t\u00eate. Parfait pour les fest-noz version rock ou les salles en feu.<\/span> <span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">L\u2019authenticit\u00e9 : B.R.E.T.O.N.S. ne fait pas de folklore de pacotille. Ils rockent la tradition sans la d\u00e9naturer.<\/span> <span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">La dimension f\u00e9d\u00e9ratrice : interg\u00e9n\u00e9rationnel et ouvert, l\u2019album rassemble autant les amateurs de rock que les amoureux de musique bretonne.<\/span> <span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">La production : puissante sans \u00eatre lisse, elle met en valeur le c\u00f4t\u00e9 \u00ab sueur et iode \u00bb du projet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Petits b\u00e9mols<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">On pourrait regretter que certaines m\u00e9lodies traditionnelles ne soient pas toujours mises davantage en avant, mais c\u2019est un choix assum\u00e9 : prioriser l\u2019impact rock plut\u00f4t que la carte \u00ab revival \u00bb. Sur ce terrain, le pari est largement gagn\u00e9. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Verdict<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u00ab D.A.O.U \u00bb est un album g\u00e9n\u00e9reux, joyeux, puissant et r\u00e9solument breton. B.R.E.T.O.N.S. r\u00e9ussit l\u00e0 o\u00f9 beaucoup tr\u00e9buchent : rendre le rock celtique moderne, vivant et excitant sans tomber dans la caricature.
